I can totally see this happening. Wouldn't like it, but I can see it.

If this is real, which it sounds like there's actually a chance.. we have the leverage. Chip has a QB who's not a scheme-fit in Bradford, if he got Bradford with intent to trade with us, we control the price. If not, have fun with Bradford.

    #2 for S Bradford, F Cox, '15 1st, '15 2nd, & '16 1st, at minimum.

Cox helps us forget about passing on Leonard. Bradford brings competition to QB. We still would have #20, #33, & Philly's 2nd. Take a RT, RB, & WR at those positions & were set.

That would be tough to turn down, as much as I dislike Bradford.

If this is real, we BETTER GET A LOT.. Somehow if we do this, I feel the return won't be enough, and we didn't use leverage properly at all, probably find a way to forfeit leverage to them - A very 'Titans" thing to do.

Problem is, in your trade, you are giving Bradford value he doesn't have. I think we can agree Cox is the equivalent of a 1st rnd pick, but then you're only getting 3 1sts and a 2nd and Bradford? If Bradford were signed to a team friendly longer term deal or had a Pro Bowl year, that's one thing. But he has not played at a Pro Bowl level in 4 years and blown his acl twice and is not too mobile behind a currently weak OL.

Add Jordan Matthews and Evan Mathis and I'll say yes. They can even have Levitre and a 6th rnd pick back for Mathis.

Three 1sts and a 2nd is still a haul. But moving from #20 to #2 still deserves more. You're right.

I feel like this rumor is picking up steam on this board and in the media, while there is still next to no actual movement in the rumor mills. At least from the major insiders.

Why does everyone assume fletcher cox would be part of a trade? Is this typical fan out of left field ideas?

Well most teams aren't going to want to give away 3 drafts worth of picks, so throwing in current players makes sense to keep from having to give up so much in the future. This works to the advantage of both teams, because the team that gets the current player, in this case Fletcher Cox, gets a player that has proven he can play in the league and can come in and contribute immediately and also eases the Titans pain of not getting Leonard Williams. The Eagles, if they gave up Cox, would save themselves from having to give up, what would probably amount to a first round draft pick and allows them to move up to get Mariota.

Moving Cox would be a huge mistake for Philly, thats their Jurrell Casey
