Webster is just filling all these holes so he can use another premium draft pick on an offensive lineman.

One last middle finger before he gets fired.

Sorry, apologize to Webster? Have you seen his draft record and past FA signings that led us to this mess?

Also, have you seen our current offense? Old, slow players like Fasano and Harry Douglas are going to change anything? LOL

We've had great pickups on defense, obviously influenced by Dick Lebeau, the only positive thing this team has in regards to management and coaching.

I'm definitely not a Webster supporter but I've liked most of our moves so far.

-Brian Orakpo. Clearly the biggest signing for the Titans. Not only do we get a top pass rusher *when healthy* but he's also good against the run and in pass coverage. Pair him with Morgan and that can be a very good duo at OLB. Morgan should cash in on more sacks this upcoming year and has less pressure to be our premiere and only pass rusher.

-Da'Norris Searcy. Even though some people were like who? Searcy had a nice career in Buffalo that ended with him as a starter. He's great against the run, can lay big hits and despite him being a SS he's a plus in pass coverage as well. Something very important in today's NFL. He's also a compliment to Michael Griffin whose play should be boosted. Much like when we had Hope or Pollard's first season.

-The rest just kind of fall in line as upgrades that were needed. Perrish Cox is an upgrade at CB 2. Even though it's not the scariest CB duo in the league, the pair should do a good job. Especially with the QB having less time in the pocket to pick us apart. Harry Douglas isn't that top WR that we were hoping for but he was productive in Atlanta despite the depth chart, good locker room guy and he gives us much needed depth and a consistent target. Anthony Fasano isn't a big name signing but still an upgrade. He's one of the better run blockers at his position, can still pick up the 3rd and shorts and is a good red zone TE.

I'm interested to see what's next. We've been rumored for Joe Barksdale, Trent Richardson and there are still plenty of others out there. Also can't forget about his biggest move this year, Lebeau.

    No apology...

but "the plan" makes more sense now.

But we better hit homeruns in the draft because this free agency did not bring any elite playmakers to the table, imo. C'mon Orakpo, Harry Douglas, Cox, and Searcy prove me wrong but uh.... I think it's easy to take my opinion.

Which 'elite playmakers' did you expect/want from FA? I think we did about as good as we could have. Filled a lot of our needs.

The only thing he could have done better was to sign Morgan slightly cheaper. I read we were debating ~4M and it was close, but he wanted to test the market. I think if we signed him before Graham it would have been cheaper. but impossible to know i guess.

Let's not all get punch drunk.

Webster is making up for where he put us. I'll congratulate him on what APPEARS to be a solid (not exceptional) and conservative (not aggressive) FA period thus far. But he is having to fill a ton of holes because of some chitty drafting and FA periods in the past few years.

    Just to keep it straight.

How can you call this a conservative FA?

don't worry I still think we will have a crap season yet again. As of right now I would say we are a few years away from playoffs but then again almost every team is these days. I refuse to congratulate this guy
