Its legal inside the tackle box, so there's at least that, not the worst rule TBH, hitting with the crown of your head is a nice way to knock yourself out of a game

Agreed. Despite the buzz from yesterday by some we have a ways to go to improve on 2-14. Orapko could be a big boost to the defense not just on his own but by taking blockers away from Morgan. But he's only played 9 games in the last 2 seasons. His signing is a big gamble.

The only signing that should without doubt be an improvement is Searcy.

Terrible reason, that's the excuse we have to use if we draft Mariota 2nd overall. Not a valid excuse to get an athlete. If he was running for mayor or town representative than yes, being a good guy helps. But in football I don't care if we have OJ Simpson, Ben Roethlisberger, Greg Hardy, and Ray Lewis, if it leads us to playoffs and a championship.

No doubt...so long as they aren't locker room problems. That said, Douglas is a solid receiver personality aside. Dude lit it up in place of White/Jones. Clean routes, good hands, and arguably better than any receiver we had before him. Yes, that's how pathetic our WR's are...Now we need a true big body #1 to keep defenses honest

James Harrison isn't going to be the reason the Titans are playing in late January. Anyone who thinks the Titans are anything close to a contender and are a aging vet or two away needs to think about how the top teams in this league are developed.

I would much prefer to see the Titans get another Searcy-type who has 4-5 years in this league and upside OR a talented rookie OR even a young guy on our roster and give him experience NOW in the hopes they become an impact player in '16 and beyond.

A Harrison won't be in the league then and is robbing experience if brought in now.

Experience from whom? You don't think he'd help any rookies we draft?

Yeah, I see Harrison becoming another Kearse toward the end of his career. Just here to collect a paycheck and take plays off.

    Coaches. Playing the game.

If Harrison is brought here, it won't be to coach up young talent. It'll be to be productive on the field. It's the job of coaches to teach and the more experience young talent gets, the better, IMO.
