Oh wow, I'm sooooo thrilled :sarcasm:

It's telling when no other team tried hard to sign him, shows you that the rest of the league already knows what most of us know; dude is as average as the come.

So reassuring to know he'll be here for years, getting those critical "quarterback pressures", while making a million dollars per sack. :anon:

Typical Titans, a franchise mired in mediocrity over the last decade, pays big money to a mediocre player.

I was hoping for Worilds but he screwed that up. The Titans can draft Leonard Williams at # 2( instead of a QB) which will help or another free agent. There is a long list of DE/OLB free agents that are still out there

You sure about that? For all you know the Titans could have offered this to him from the start, told him to go test the market, and Atlanta and Tampa weren't willing to match the deal.

But two team were interested in him and either didn't wanna sign his asking price, or didn't want to match a soft offer we had out.

Your claim that no other team trade hard, is silly.

    I am the morgan hater..

He is not an impact player. He does not make plays.. but never questioned his effort. He is average. he is worth having on a roster, but not worth a #1 spot most of the time, because he cannot finish the job rushing the passer. he should be in on every 2nd down, and out on most 3rd downs.

I am not mad about the signing. Average is better than what the rest of the team is. Not jumping for joy, but not mad at all.

Doesn't suck... just not good at anything but run support. I'd like more from a big budget OLB in the 3-4. Nobody else is going to offer a sizeable contract on an OLB who simply can never get the job done in pass rushing.

He's got to be in the top 10 DEs if "Almost getting to the QB, but not quite" were a stat. Still MUCH better signing than Wimbley, and honestly everyone else they signed in FA last year.

If the Titans had used a 3rd round pick on Morgan, I'd really like him. He has that kind of skillset. I should know better by now, but I usually expect more from a 1st round DL.

Come on Fry, dont be that type of media.

Derrick Morgan said he was tired of being average or below average Titans, as in a team, not him. He also followed that by saying he believes we are heading in the right direction as a team and is excited to play alongside Orakpo.

Was also on his way to a workout this morning.
