Orakpo signs with Titans

Getting Morgan back would be crucial right now

 

Hopefully we didn't overspend and hopefully we get "OSackpo" and not "OPectoralpo"

Defense would look instantly better

Throw in Harrison as depth, possible another rookie pass-rusher, rookie secondary.

Probably overpaid. But who cares it's a high risk high reward signing. Lets just hope its mostly incentive based.

 

He has an overinflated opinion about himself and he's a fragile player. If we wanted to re-sign him we would have. Enjoy and thanks shutting this door/chapter in his career with us. Good riddance Orakpo. Not our problem anymore.

 

Is it just me or can the media make any signing we make seem flawed. I realize this particular signing is of a player injured more than once, but they do it all the time regardless.

 

We probably did over pay but he is a 2x pro bowler who is still just 28 who can be the leader of the defense, not just vocally but by example which can be invaluable. I'll take it...Lebeau and Horton are probably licking their chops

 

I think this means we will draft Mariota now. FO can say they covered their butt by getting a pass rusher.

 

I strongly believe Leonard Williams is the pick. Outside linebackers are set now with Orakpo and Morgan keyed in as starters. Will probably look to the later rounds 3-4 for outside linebackers.
