    Teams aren't winning championships with Trent Dilfers anymore.

    League has changed. Still need a strong D but you've got to have a QB.

    Idk how we can give up on mett already, I mean the guy played behind an offensive line full of backups, with no run game, and always losing allowing teams to just send mad pass rushers at him. Nobody would have done well with situation and I think he played well enough to warrant a full offseason as the man and not third string barely getting any reps.

    Titans take a risk with Vince Young and get burned by his maturity and mental issues. Also, well, he wasn't worthy of a top 3 pick. Bud Adams bought into the hype after the National Championship game.

    Titans take a risk with Jake Locker. The guy with injury issues, pretty bad numbers and had accuracy problems. He also didn't win in school, like at all. But hey intangibles.

    Titans now have a chance with Marcus Mariota. Who has won, by all accounts a great guy to have on your team, true face of the franchise, put up very impressive numbers, and would bring instant excitement to the team. So he has the benefits of VY and Locker but not those downfalls. So yeah let's pass on him and roll with our 6th round pick with concerning injury issues and a low ceiling.

    People can keep complaining about not being "aggressive" in free agency when the real story is here, are we drafting our new franchise QB now or going to put it off and hope we can be in the same position next year?

    Because he is a 6th round pick who makes nothing. Who cares?

    If we cut him tomorrow he'd drift around the league a couple years and end up back in Georgia selling cars.
