    I completely agree but I can see why he said that. Now i'm not saying it's right because when your bad for as long as we have been, the fans are going to hold you accountable and critique every move you make or don't make. I don't know much about him either but i guess i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt in terms of knowledge. I gotta assume he's got someone in his corner that knows something that he can bounce ideas off of not named Webster.

    IIRC Bud tried to get Tommy to take over while he was still alive and Tommy refused. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong because that impression has greatly influenced how I feel about him as owner.

    Yeah I definitely remember hearing that and it is informing my opinion, specifically on his passion for this role, as well.

    I just look at Tommy Boy and see a business man who doesn't seem all that passionate for the game or his current role. I get that the business side of things is extremely important but I think ideally you want a combination of both.

    Totally agree, especially given that, purely from a business standpoint, your revenue is largely tied to fan perception and excitement about the team. Making money on a crap franchise is a 3-5 year plan at best IMO.....

    Buzz doesn't win squat. Having a roster of talent does. We are not a washed-up Andre Johnson away from a playoff run like the Colts are. What the Titans need are young WRs with upside who can thrive in Whiz's style of play and go, along with the rest of the team, to where the Colts are now.

    Were the Titans in the hunt for McCourty or not? Was McCourty not one of the top free agents available? I don't know what some of you expect to happen. The Titans have worked to bring in players that fit what they want to do and still have upside. Many fans here think, just because they didn't sign with the Titans, efforts are not being made.

    Results are not necessarily a reflection of effort.

    IDK. Kuharsky actually had a post recently saying Kenneth should step up as the face of the franchise. I know the big knock on KA is that he's very young. But at this point he's been with the franchise for years and has always shown an active interest in the team...... AND, get this, actually lives IN the city/state where the team is located! Crazy talk I know but I he's doing it anyway. What a kook.

    At this point, I say give me the 30 year old guy who's been all-in on this team from day one over the bumbling fool who was seemingly forced into the position.
