gotta remember we went hard after graham and mccourty, missed on them. Prolly focused on those 2 during the 3 days and now that we missed were moving down our FA board

My frustration with this board regarding free agency...

gotitans poster: We need xxx, but we can't overpay. I wouldn't go higher than 4 yr/24 mil
xxx the free agent: *signs 5 year, 47.5 million dollar deal*
gotitans poster: This team makes me sick. We should have signed xxx.

Not bad, but I do understand the frustration here. We were 2-14 last season, and we do not appear to be very active thus far. Who knows what is really going on behind the scenes, but that is how it looks from the outside.

I do think that there is something to the theory about people not being too anxious to play here. Maybe they see the writing on the wall as well (in one year we will likely be going through another housecleaning, so why waste one year of a limited career timeline in a dumpster fire situation?)...I could definitely see why we would lose out on many players that way (or, more concerning, overpay for mediocre talent, limiting our ability to pull out of this in future seasons).

    Hopefully I am wrong.....

I'll acknowledge the current state but I won't accept it. There were several mistakes made that put us in the toilet that were OBVIOUS to most posters here.

I actually agree with Gut on this . It's been a disaster and we are very quickly scrapping the bottom of the barrel. I would hazard to guess that we offered Graham, McCourty and Buluga more than what they signed for, but they just didn't want to come to this dumpster fire.

I am not gonna lose my mind though, once Hardy,Orakpo and Worilds go then we have a problem.
RT is extremely thin, I would get Stingily on the phone asap.
Cary Williams, we have done well not to get him. Where are all the other CBs Cromartie..??

Plenty of time left but Webster clearly has failed to get the top targets. Searcy is a great signing pretty happy with that! Douglas is fine as a Washington replacement. Plenty more to go!

Cromartie said he has made enough money, that he wants to play for a contender but said he would make an exception for the Jets because his family loved it there.

He said NY, Dallas, or Ari was his top 3

Failing is what the Eagles and Chip jelly is doing. That dude done revived the darkest of ages of the Browns orginization. Traded foles (and adequate QB) AND a SECOND for same Bradford.

Paid maxwell 63 MILLION with half guarenteed.

Didn't resign Maclin and traded McCoy away to the bills.

Guys deep breath, be glad we arnt Eagles fans
