Rumor Titans to be aggressive in free agency

He specifically stated that? He's seriously the most inept human being running a franchise right now. Why even say that? If Browner would excel more as a safety why would you not try it? But hey what the hell do I know. Lets watch him get burnt over the top all season. He would do well as a safety imo. It's not like we have the safety play to cover for his short comings in the speed department. He needs to be covering TE not speedy WR on the outside.

 

He's been with the team for 5 years and GM for 3 years. We have the least amount of talent in the NFL, the joke of the league, the 2nd to last record, a pretty bad head coaching hire, and oh he has pretty much whiffed on every FA and draft period. I'm not giving anymore excuses to anyone in this organization. The Titans used to be a team to be reckoned with. Not anymore and under his guidance, not ever. I'm tired of being the joke and the gutter of this league. Webster should be fired, and then Whiz and hopefully we make some good hires with our new owner because yes this team will be sold.

You realize Safety requires speed as well right? Lol he is bigger like a linebacker yes but he's been good as a Corner. Leave him alone. He would be chancellor at best (extra LB) that's a stupid FA move.

Bring in people that fit scheme not to change positions.

 

No I had absolutely no idea safety requires speed.

He's not bigger like a LB he's bigger like a S. He struggles with speed it is why NE used him on big physical WR's and pass catching TE's. He excels in that area. Otherwise he gets a PI call when he get burnt on the outside and has to do what he can to prevent a big play. How do you know what S position he would play already. Would he be our FS/SS or matchup specialist like NE used him which is the proper way to utilize a 6'4 physical CB that has a speed deficiency.

Listen if we get him and he plays CB so be it. I merely entertained the thought that moving him to S would be beneficial for him and the team ala Antrel Rolle.

 

I wouldn't move Browner until it was required.

 

??? Why would you change a players position when he's become one of the better corners in the league? Yall talk **** about Webster, but God I'm glad it ain't some of yalls team.

 

Btw you can't judge Whisenhunt and Webster yet. Give them a couple more years to let their plan develop. If we haven't made the playoffs in 3 years then yeah...the whis/Webster project Failed.

And yeah I was a huge proponent of keeping Greg williams as d coordinator and sticking with 43, but hey. ..it is what it is.

 

Titans were a finalist for McCourty, Graham, and Cary Williams. And they are reportedly in on a number of other free agents. So let's not act they are doing nothing out there.

Recent reports are that we are in on Orakpo and that we are very interested in Hardy. We are also expected to be interested in Tramon Williams and Buster Skrine (though this is mere speculation at this point)

 

I will hold my judgment on whiz, he has only had 1 year here but Webster is a Joke of a GM! He has no idea what he is doing in that role and eventually he will get fired but not before he ruins another football season or two. We were 2-14 in 2014 and we have little to no talent on the roster in which this problem falls on Webster. He has been here for a little bit now and I have seen Gm's turn it around faster than what he is doing. This organization has become a joke of what it used to be. Ill be patient with whiz but not with Webster. # FIRE WEBSTER.
