That's not against the rules though... They were still on our team.

It's when teams are talking with other team's players that they're not technically allowed to offer contracts.

Somehow there are loopholes. I don't understand it.

Levitre and Walker were the first two signings reported once the FA period began in 2013...

I expect us to have a couple of signings reported within 15-20 minutes of FA's start. The question is will they be good signings?

I remember McCluster being our first signing last year, and I was left scratching my head. That came out of nowhere.

Who knows who we will target. We have so many holes on the team, I really cant blame them for not breaking the bank.

    Speaking in Madden terms:

What good is a defense with one level 90 ranked player, and 10 level 60 ranked players. We would be better if everyone was ranked 75. Easiest way to put it. We improve overall, instead of one position greatly.

We not only have a lot of holes to fill, we have so many that we need a somewhat of a splash to even field a roster of decent players.

The problem is I actually think, in Madden terms, we already have a bunch of 75 type guys.

It's the fact that we have no difference makers on either side of the ball that hurts us so badly.

When you sign an elite defensive player (assuming he continues to be elite), he will elevate the play of the rest of your defense. Same goes for an offensive weapon.

We don't have a single player that teams have to game plan around. They just roll in with their most basic ass game plan, and it'll work.

Graham is a good(not great) player, and I would've liked to have signed him to the exact contract he got in Philly, but I'm not upset about missing out either.

Trying not to panic, but I won't lie, nearly every single edge rusher player is gone, and it's slightly concerning. I really really hope we re-sign Morgan tonight and sign Worilds tomorrow - That's asking for a lot though (for us to land the exact 2 guys I want)..

Hardy doesn't seem to fit a 3-4, but I'd still take him. I think he could rush the QB from OLB. He's an athlete.

For the past ten years the front office hasn't given me any reason not to hate the signing of a punter and a long snapper. It seems to me attention has been focused in the wrong place. These two guys should have been signed a long time ago instead of being signed while all the other free agents where being courted by other teams. How can the past two days be even remotely considered as making a splash or being aggressive in free agency. I have dealt with a crappy team for too long...
