Rumor Titans to be aggressive in free agency

They are going to be expensive but who are we saving our money for? The future QB we don't have? That is, if he even lasts long enough to sign behind our OL.

I don't see Smith here either, and I don't really think he is what we need here. I do think he would open up things for Wright and the running game though.

I don't care for the running backs either, but I care less for Sankey. With todays market, we would be dumb not to try and bring one in.

I think we are in such a bad spot at CB2, that we almost have to bring someone in.

I expected this to be a weak free agency from the start, best case for a quick turn around is to nail a trade for #2 and hit on several of those picks right away. Either way, I'm expecting us to *barely* double our wins next year.

 

Can't force players to come here to this purgatory. Who's to say they aren't trying. Throwing numbers at everyone available is NOT investing in the future of the team..

I have no clue how some teams are going to be able to maintain a competitive roster with some of these moves? Look at the Bears and the Cutler situation, than the Eagles throwing 60 mil to Maxwell? Miami throwing 114 mil at Suh?

Just LOL at Chip Kelly. Guy is the worst GM. Owner must be pumped with all these moves. I know our GM is laughed at but I am 100 percent expecting Chip to offer a trade comparable to the Herschel trade. Just don't know if it will be us who are the ones to get it. My best guess is he assumes Mariota is the next coming of Jesus and has no need for any sort of weapons when Mariota can preform miracles.
