    I thought we had a legitimate shot at getting DMAC. The fact that it's not Tuesday and he's already signed with the Patriots, lets me know that we didn't have a chance.

    I will at least say I think 5 year/$47.5M is too much for Devin.

    But damn... What a disappointment. I thought for sure JMac would be able to convince him to sign here.

    Unfortunately, it has been reported that the Jags, Eagles, and Giants made the strongest push for him.

    Oh well... Like I said, I do think he got too much money. But it does bother me that we didn't even appear to try. I'm sure Jason is thrilled.

    This was the only scenario I was going to accept. Now if we lost on a bidding war to another team then we have a problem but I don't blame the guy one bit.
