The Pats are out of it. They didn't even negotiate with him nor tell him their plans in advance. That's what happens when you're NOT in the organizations plans. Maybe if Revis took a huge discount and got his deal done early they'd have had a shot, but the fact that McCourty doesn't know whats happening tells you NE is OUT!!!

Philly isnt exactly a contender when they don't have a franchise QB either and are picking 20th. Not exactly gonna get people going to Vegas to bet on them to win it all this year.

I'll give you two more reasons DMac should come here...no luxury tax so his contract is worth more in TN AND, he can still get paid big bucks like Griff even if he doesn't play well!!!;)

I thought I seen NE and McCourty were far apart on a deal, which tells me there has been and could still be negotiations.

Philly is more of a contender then us. If it wasn't for that week 17 loss to the Redskins they are a playoff team. With Mark Sanchez. They have the money, Philly could outbid us even with no state tax in Tennessee.

    Here is the question.

Would Devin McCourty even consider the Titans if his brother did not play here??

What about a grocery tax? Heard there was a special tax where some go to Kentucky just to shop, then return home.

M biggest fear is the love that the Titans' brass & owner have for Michelle Griffin....... I hope it does not stop them from paying DMac. He is by far the top FA not named Suh IMO. Having him in TN would be a big time upgrade on our secondary.

Cary Williams had a great visit today. He said it felt like home. Funny since he still has his home here and stays here in the offseason. He is weighing offers/interest from us, seahawks, ravens, and jets. I really like our chances here. He lives here, likes it here and if we offer decent money, this is where he will be. Itll give us good competition between him and bww for the outside spot and we can keep coty inside where he is best.
