Brandon Marshall anyone???

We need a big bodied receiver, and I'm afraid will miss out on come round 2. The ones that will end up making it into round 2 are the ones with inconsistent hands (Strong, Perriman, Coates, Etc.).

Really wish we would have thrown a 5th for Marshall.

 

Indeed, it is a very deep class...Do we screw up and get the ONLY Justin Hunter of the draft??!?!?!? Because it felt that way at RB last year. EVERYONE but Sankey produced. I haven't given up on him, and he can be good given a better line, but I still have nightmares that we let Hill/Hyde/ and basically every other rookie go after us and perform better.

 

I know, I wanted Hyde.

 

I really liked Hill a lot, and said it on here plenty of times. I wanted someone who could run in between the tackles given our poor line and a wonky Shonn Greene. I would have taken Hyde just as easily. Give me a guy with an attitude. Instead, we take a shifty back with good hands when we have average run blocking and DMC who was brought in to be that guy....Head scratch. The trading up for Justin Hunter was outright stupid. Go back and look at some wide outs that went after him and you will be sick. Then we passed on Bryant last year to top it off...and now here we are.....Our 5'9 hero that can't stay up and should be in the slot, JH who plain sucked, and a bunch of nobody's. What a waste. I am not trying to be a debbie downer, but they seriously need to lock up WR once and for all this year via draft/FA. Teams have absolutely ZERO worry about our passing game, and until they do, they will stack the box and we won't be able to run.

 

Meanwhile with the Titans fifth round pick we draft...
