I feel like the Colts are about to be in for one hell of an FA to get them to the next level. I'm really worried about it...

They have a ton of cap space and will steal some of the guys we'd want.

I'm holding out hope that they'll **** it up, but that's my expectation for us, not them.

Yes, go get him. Especially for a 5th, heck I would give up a 4th maybe a 3rd LOL. Him, Wright, Hunter, Walker is pretty solid.

I'd trade wright for Marshall straight up if they'd take it. Wright don't seem to be in whiz plans anyway.
Sign harry trade wright for Marshall keep Nate and let's do it

If it truly only costs a mid-round pick, i'd do it. $7.5m is a hefty price, but I still think Marshall can be a top-10 WR. I'm from IL and got a lot of Chicago sports stuff through TV, although crazy, Marshall truly seems to love the game and works hard. He is about to turn 31, but look at what Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, and Vincent Jackson (who has a similar skill set) did last year. Receivers can be productive into their mid-30s.

He did have an awful year last year, but so did the Bears as a whole. Marshall could be a 1000yd receiver next year and would allow us to focus on greater needs in the draft.

Offer up a 5th. He's got 3 years left on his deal, we have PLENTY of money. Worth it IMO.

All the "cancer in the locker room" crap was because Cutler was being a dbag all year by trying to get players to go against Trestman. Marshall called him out, I don't blame him for that.

We dealt with Kenny Britt being a cancer, atleast we'd get production out of Marshall if he did the same. Plus, Whiz is a halfway respectable coach around the league, between him and Shawn Jefferson they'd keep his mind right.

    Marshall
    Hunter
    Wright (slot)
    Harry Douglas
    4th-6th round WR

I don't think some people realize how crazy of a person Marshall is.

I'm glad he's gotten help and improved his life and all, but that stuff is still inside him. And the minute we are losing and/or not getting him the ball enough (which both will be problems), he will implode.

Have to really tread lightly with a guy like Marshall... The Colts might make the most sense for him right now... and that pisses me the hell off thinking about it.

$7.5mil isn't even the problem. In fact, that's a bargain for a player as dominant as Marshall can be. I am strictly worried about him as a locker room nutcase.

I would be pushed to give up more than a 5th for him because of how high up in the draft order we are picking and the quality of this draft at WR.

But I would seriously consider it because of the fact that we have no chance of attracting a #1 WR in FA. No WR is going to want to come to the Titans with the QB uncertainty that we have...or if they do come we are going to have to way over pay for them. So trading away a pick might be our only chance of actually getting a true #1 besides taking one early in the draft. I would also want to know the details of the remaining part of Marshall's contract. How much is still guaranteed after this year? If he is an ass and locker room cancer then can we dump him next offseason without any cap ramifications. I'm ok risking a 5th rnder on him. Even in his down year he still had 8 TDs which is more than our #1pick Wright has ever had in a year.
