Eagles are rumored to be positioning themselves to trade up for Mariota. It is all over social media today and the pieces are coming together.

If this is true and if the Titans **** this up it might be borderline unforgivable.

I don't care if you don't want Mariota at 2. You take him and dangle him in front of Philadelphia for the rest of the day until they jump.

Worst case, you are stuck with the most dynamic player in the draft and potential franchise QB.

That's what I was thinking. I think Philly might be smart enough to call our bluff and not trade into #2. If we wanna make a deal we may have to just draft him and make it post-selection trade.

    That is what I'm saying.

Draft him. Don't give the Eagles the chance to jump in at 3-6.

If they want Mariota force them to deal with us.

I promise if we don't one the teams a couple places behind us will and we will look dumb as usual.

I agree. I said it multiple times, don't be shocked to watch us take him, even if he isn't the "Target". It's too easy, they either force a trade or have a potential starting QB with Mett as a backup. A BIG upgrade from last year, and that's not even considering the fact of the pressure that Webster and Whiz are under to create a spark in the fan base and franchise, and start to win.

I'm honestly not all that high on Mariota but if we ended up getting stuck with him it wouldn't be the end of the world. He at least has a shot at being a franchise QB.

I'm probably just being a worry wart but as the draft draws closer I just can't shake this feeling that Leonard Williams isn't going to live up to the hype. Not saying he will suck or anything but it's just a gut feeling. I just won't be shocked if he ends up closer to "solid" than "superstar". Too often these "slam dunks" don't turn out that way.

I really wanna see a QB at 2 or trade down.

Don't forget we promoted Mike Mularkey to run game coordinator. That is also what he could mean by wanting a smash mouth team. Whiz has always been about throwing the ball, now we have a compliment to it.

As much as I'd like to get a kings ransom so the Eagles could get Mariota. I am at an all time low to trust this organization.

    1) I'm sure Webster would find a way to get ripped off.
    2) If the highest player on the board is Leonard Williams, pass rusher, or franchise QB then you take him. What good is trading back if you fall so far you aren't going to get the player(s) you want.

Also, people have been talking about not having any talent. We are in a position to get a franchise QB or a elite member on the team.

Whiz is a terrible coach, this team needs an elite talent that can still look good with poor coaching/game planning. We don't need good players that will suffer from lack of competent coaching.
