LeSean McCoy trade

I agree Spiller to Eagles...seems like a salary dump regarding McCoy..so what's involved Philly coming after #2?

Appears they wanted McCoy to restructure his contract to lower his cap and Chip doesn't like what's been coming out of McCoy's mouth. While McCoy is still pretty young, he does have a ton of tread on the tires.

Eagles get a beastly LB who is super young and cheap...and a duck!

The interesting thing is...no Desean Jackson, no Maclin, no McCoy....

We will know a lot about whether they are planning a trade up or not. If they go big in free agency and adress a lot of their holes, they could look to move up. If they still have some glaring holes, I'm not sure they could move up.

But how about there 1st, 2nd, 3rd this year, 1st and 2nd next year plus Foles and Alonso? Then we trade Foles to Cleveland or the Rams or the Jets...or keep him.

 

If we can't cut a trade with the Eagles for the second pick, play hard ball and take Mariota at two and force their hand. Ballsy, but the Eagles just showed their hand.

 

We will ONLY know that after we see what they do in free agency. If they have a ton of holes on their roster, they aren't looking for a great trade up to #2.

 

I don't think you EVER take a player because someone else covets them.

 

Eagles wouldn't be that stupid, would they? That's a Ricky Williams type trade.

 

He's Andrew Luck for them. How much would you have had to give the Colts to move up 20 spots to take Andrew Luck???

 

Great trade by Philly. Alonzo is really good, and they save a lot of money. Obviously will need a replacement RB, but I think they will find one that will put up good numbers in that system.
