If he can give our defense a bit of a chip on their shoulder attitude, it won't hurt. It's not like we'll break the bank to get him.

The mindset of the defense has got to change, bringing in a vet with a hard-nosed attitude is better than hoping we draft away our problems.

Didn't want him last year when he was a year younger.

But, who cares? Can't get any worse than wimbley.

Expectations are rock bottom, and if they go 0-16 I wouldn't be shocked.

Titans will have to get used to only getting the unwanted free agents, because others will go to a team with obvious upside.

With last year's crop of FAs, there was some optimism for the future.

I think he could be like Pollard and bring attitude to the Defense without being a difference maker.

I didn't like him either until, like Cruds previously said, Hard Knocks on the Bengals and I don't hate him like I did except for pure Steeler hate.

Basically, whatever. I still heavily prefer we draft defense with nearly all our draft picks this year.

I don't see how it hurts as long as the contract isn't ridiculous and not more than 2 years.

I'm not a big fan of implementing this "aged' style of defense. It reeks of the same old "we're late to the party" as opposed to hiring some innovative young coaches and having a youth movement of players evolving with it. Seems like that's how the great D's (including LeBeau during his "hay-day" ) have done it.

I'd feel a bit better about brining an older vet for influence if we'd had better success with the Pollard experiment. And I just don't see Harrison bringing that same "edge" he had when he was younger. Why would he coming to a down team like we are right now?

Like I said, I don't see how it really hurts unless we get ridiculous on the contract.

Does that win games? I don't see any evidence that it does.

The Patriots are the youngest team ever to win a Super Bowl.

Talent wins games. Good coaching wins games. Old, hard-nosed tough guys who yell a lot don't win games.
