    Williams all the way..
I want to see him tear Luck's head off. Literally. Titans need to go to war with tanks not drones..

I do love a solid Defense man. Old school Titans football. The truth is, a GOOD defense will make an average offense look great. Especially a QB like Mett. At that point, you need a game manager that doesn't turn the ball over constantly. Look around the league, teams with solid defenses reigned for the most part. (Ravens, Hawks, Chiefs, Lions, Cards, etc)...

The funny thing is, even with my stats above, most of the teams that made the playoffs with a top 10 defense. had a top 10 offense as well. Which just proves the point, we need to get better EVERYWHERE instead of focusing on one side of the ball.

Because of the "win now" mentality, the number 2 pick this year is much more valuable as a trade as it is any 1 single player in this draft. You can get a really good trade from desperate teams who have to make moves to please their fanbase. Titans do not have the outside pressure most other teams have. Take that #2 and trade it for a 1st for next year + a later round first, or an early 2nd for this year. At minimum you get 2 for 1 and with all the holes needing filled we need that more than any single player.

This is also what makes me doubt either of the 2 QBs this year will be the pick. I don't see them having immediate impact and Ruston and Whiz need to win next year to avoid the unemployment line.

If the NFL only went with top ten picks at QB there would be a bunch of great qbs erased from NFL history..

Ive said this in the other thread and I'll say it again, I like Fowler more than Williams. DL would do magic with a guy like Fowler. Unfortunately we would have to stay put at our spot to get Fowler meaning we didn't trade out and acquire more picks. He would be the one defensive guy taken at two I could live with. I'm not sold on Williams yet.

What would sell you on Williams, because if it isn't his performance on the field I don't know what does it.

He gets injured a lot. He always seems to have an injury. He missed four games in the past two years which isn't much but he spends a lot of time in the training room and on the injury report. He's not even gonna bench cause his shoulders still messed up. That's really my only knock is his durability.
