You really think Green-Beckham is going to fall to #33?

He has the highest ceiling of all the WRs. It's just a matter of his off field crap. But IMO some team may reach on him as soon as #10... and if not, I don't see him falling out of the 1st.

I sure hope so. In a wild scenario where Green-Beckham, Gurley, and Gordon are available at #33, I will kill myself if we don't take one. And of the three, I'd probably prefer DGB because an elite WR is harder to come by than a good RB.

No way is he sitting there at 33 bro....I agree with you. His ceiling and sheer size/athleticism will sell him to a team with nothing to lose if nothing else. If any of those 3 are sitting at 33, and they pass, stoning may take place! Lol

This class is stacked at WR. I think it's pretty likely DGB is there at 33

It's a deep WR class, but not as deep as last year's. 5 WRs went in the 1st last year. I'd expect to see another 4-5 this year.

I'm sure a few teams will take DGB off their board at least in the 1st. But even with the off field concerns, I'd bet he's a top 5 WR on most teams boards.

    We'll see. I definitely hope he's there.

Well to be fair, he's playing a hell of a lot better than Moss did ... as a Titan.

I've seen so many mixed reports on DGB. Some have him I'm early teens and others not until mid-2nd. However, I think a dominant combine puts him in the Top-20. Can't teach size. I still like Devante Parker the most of all WR prospects.

I don't that's that's the best move. Better GMs know we're sticking with with Mett. Our trade value comes from other teams outbidding each other NOT from keeping us from taking Mariota. So allowing the clock to sweat each GM to their breaking point will get us maximum value for the #2 spot. We'd simply tell each GM what the value of the spot is as it increases. The caveat is to not be so ridiculous as to immediately drive them away. AND to convince each GM that we WILL take Mariota if the FINAL offer isn't satisfactory to us, ultimately working a trade AFTER we take Mariota. (Vis a vis the Chargers-Manning trade). That strategy will require great finesse and balls of steel.

Webster's record is not great and I've been blasting him on it. He has a chance here to REALLY shut up his critics. I think he botched trade attempts for our pick last year. (See "war room" video clips just before we declared). I think he received a painful lesson about how trades work albeit with a result that turned out fortunate for us. I'm VERY interested to see just how much he learned from it. I WANT him to shut me up.

I'd like for us to trade no lower than #12. We can get decent picks for our D needs and probably even a legit impact player. I'd love to trade with the Browns for their 12, 19, this year, next years 1st, this years 2nd. I'd be happy be to trade with the Rams for their 10, next years 1st and this and next years 2nds. I don't see the Eagles viable at all (hate all scenarios with them).

So Ruston- make it work, show us you can do it right. Shut me up!

There was a mock yesterday based on report that Chip Kelly wants Mariota at all costs. The mock had the Eagles trading us all their 2015 picks and 2016 1st rounder to us for #2 overall.

Based on ole Walter Football's latest Mock http://walterfootball.com/draft2015.php

we could land with that deal, just for example...

Eric Kendricks ILB UCLA - 1st round #20
Jordan Phillips NT Oklahoma - 2nd round #33
    Nate Orchard - OLB Utah - 2nd round #52
    Hauoli Kikaha - OLB Washington - 3rd round #66
    Derron Smith - S Fresno State - 3rd round #93
Lorenzo Mauldin- OLB Lousiville- 4th round #100
Josh Shaw- CB USC- 4th round #110
Ladarius Gunter- CB Miami- 4th round #116

I don't see any of that happening but I wouldn't be upset at all if the Eagles offered that deal and we took it. I'm also clearly thinking heavy Defense in this draft.
