I agree with the approach if the Titans' FO were putting this stuff out, but I do not put a lot of stock in any of these chattering class folks. I am not sure that how this is spun before the draft by the talking heads has much impact on how this plays out.

That said, I agree that we should be very ruthless about dealing the pick. We need to get everything that we can here. I would like a deal that includes a top pick in 2016 as well since we very well may be needing to look QB at that point.

Only problem is Whiz is not selling it. He still thinks he's in damage control for explaining the terrible season and why we CAN be better next year including Mett. Combine that with he's a stubborn guy and wants a particular type of QB that Mariota doesn't fit, and ppl reach the same logical conclusion. We don't want another QB at #2. Not even sure they'd take Winston IF he was available.

If we take Leonard Williams and the Jags get a boat load of picks from the Browns, Jets or whomever, Im gonna be very unhappy!!!

If we do trade with Cleveland, I'd really love Devante Parker at 12. I think he can be a gamechanger for an offens, even with an average QB.

I think there is a chance White or Parker are the first WR drafted depending on combine.

I also don't get all the Dante Fowler hype, you'd think he has 15+ sacks this year! I think he could develop into something special, but he has a lot of issues with his pass rush. If he can't blow by you with his speed, he has little else at this point. And he got a lot of his pressure blitzing from not an OLB spot!

I'll take Shane Ray over Fowler, ty.

If we did trade with the Browns and got both their picks, I would really hope Danny Shelton would be there at #12. With all the pass rushers and WRs that are going to go early it's possible, but not likely.

If we did get Shelton at #12, I would be fine with going O-line at #19. I have said all along that I wouldn't want an O-lineman in the 1st but that was under the assumption we take O-line at the expense of the defense. If we get a stud defensive player at #12 I'm fine with taking someone like Scherff or Collins. That would be a great first round!

If the Browns trade did happen, there's two options that I love:

    Option #1:
    12: Danny Shelton, NT, Washington
19: Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan St
    33: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Mizzou
    43: Nate Orchard, OLB, Utah
66: Tre Jackson, OG, Florida St

    Option #2:
    12: Devante Parker, WR, Louisville
    19: Shaq Thompson, SS, Washington
    33: Nate Orchard, OLB, Utah
    43: Laken Tomlinson, OG, Duke
66: Jalen Collins, CB, LSU or Josh Shaw, CB, USC

Both options would include adding a starting OLB (Houston, Orakpo, Worilds, etc), Devin McCourty, and a starting caliber RT as our key signings.

I wonder if the Bears are looking to trade up. John Fox doesn't seem to want to back Jay Cutler. They could want Marcus.
