Memphis has WAY more culture ths
Jacksonville doesn't compare to Memphis neither. The best atmosphere in the NBA. Every city has "hoods" Birmingham is only good cause of the Pilot truck stop that we always stop at on the way to Atlanta from Memphis

I get what your saying in this thread also. And aren't Preds owned by a local group? If so, further supports your premise.

No but it is a sign that they are attempting to identify with the culture. Its worth stating that the shipyard "project" is just that- only a set of plans as yet to be approved and developed. No capital investment yet. BUT- it is an indicator of an owner looking to STIMULATE local interest and the local economy. It may not work, but that type of project is necessary to re-invigorate a dying community.

And besides the thus far fiasco attempts at improving game-day experience, just what has Tommy Boy done to get the fan base re-energized? Kept Ruston Webster? Promised better food and quicker stadium entry? That's about it. And he hasn't done that well.

Don't forget Tommy Boy turned down running the franchise in the past. The only reason he's doing it now is because Bud is dead.

Is there some sort of rule saying that you have to visit this thread? I have tuned out many of your threads after seeing the topic, without whining multiple times about the content....is that so hard to do?

I am not a Hags fan by any means, but I agree that I would like to see more "Khan-like" behavior here. As I have mentioned multiple times previously, IMO a huge step towards long term improvement of this franchise is to instill ownership with more of a local involvement. It is hard to know what "shipyard" projects to support when you live a few states south of the city IMO.

No, pretty easy actually, do it all the time. And this has nothing to do with improving his football team.

But when XO comes around my threads and acts a fool, its only right I let him know when one of his is awful.

Titans dont do "khan-like" things, really?

    Whats this?

Give him a break. At least this is about something, unlike the 19 pages about 520 snacking on feces.

Bigger video and better sound. Very innovative. That's real community leadership.

So what you want is Tommy Smith to invest 100 million dollars in downtown Nashville?

Is downtown Nashville not already a booming area?
