titans gonna pass on qb?

Works both ways. Leonard Williams is hands down the best overall prospect, he alone will command a lot of attention.

 

Nobody jumps up for Leonard Williams.

Teams would have looked at moving up for Mariota or Winston.

If the Titans believe Leonard is the guy fine but forgive me if I do not trust their judgment. They haven't really done much in the draft in a long time to deserve any kind of trust.

 

Williams is the next Suh without the anger issues, teams will be very interested in that IMO.

 

I'm firmly in the "Ruston Webster is an idiot" camp. But I honestly don't even think it matters one way or the other. The majority of things teams/GMs/coaches say about the draft at this point is BS anyway.

If a team really wants one of those QBs I don't think they are going to let some quote Ruston gave the Tennessean in February determine whether or not they try to trade up.

 

Webster: We feel like Mariota is a franchise QB.

Every other team in the league: Webster says he likes Mariota. Take him off the board.

 

If Williams is the next Suh then you aren't trading anyway.

I still say you bait the QB needy teams like NY into trading. Maybe Philly wants to give us the farm for Mariota.

I'd have Mariota in to visit every week just to BS other teams.

 

As someone who's in sales and likes haggling, I agree with this. Pump the tires as much as you can, get other teams excited about getting our spot to take him. Make teams HAVE to make it worth our while to trade back. All that does is increase the value of our pick.

 

League limits the amount of meetings teams get with guys. You really want us blowing that part of the process in hopes Philly is watching?
