    Jason Pierre-Paul 4-3 DE, but could he be an option? He's got the size to play 3-4 DE, and the speed to move to OLB. Not exactly a fan of hiring a guy to do something he doesn't do (see Kam Wimbley.) But JPP's talent is also much more than Wimbley's.

    You're missing the point though, and JCB hit it. If Wright had Rodgers throwing to him, he'd look like Cobb. So whylayout a huge contract to get essentially a duplicate of what we already have. My comment about Dez or Thomas is that they're different types of receivers, one that we don't have because Hunter is more like Britt than a #1. Having 2 of the same receiver, and paying both well isn't how you build a team.

    I like JPP and wouldn't be upset if they went after him. With the room we have, he could help as long as they're confident that we won't be Haynesworth after getting paid.

    This is what's soo bad out our roster. JPP's production the last couple of years is not that good, but he is better than what we currently have. These types of moves is what makes our building very incremental.

    Their is a huge difference between Wright and Cobb. Cobb actually has 4.4 speed and is a threat to beat you deep. Wright has 4.6 speed and is no threat to run by a CB or S. Wright is very quick but is not fast. Cobb is both quick and fast.

    Cobb is clearly better than Wright, but he's not worth $9m+/yr. I just can't see him being a #1 WR.

    JPP should be one of the top guys on the DONT SIGN list. I posted this somewhere else too but I'll reiterate. He has back issues...major red flag there for a pass rusher! Second, he only has 2 seasons with double digit sacks and this is the 2nd one. He had exactly 2.5 of his 12.5 sacks this year against good teams. All of the others came against scrub teams (including ours)!

    Someone will totally overpay him for his 12.5 sacks (in a contract year) but it had better NOT be us!!! They had the Giants owner on (radio) a couple weeks back and he said the right things but the bottom line is...there is a number they think he's worth and they aren't going over it.

    And I don't think that number is $10mil/yr. Doesn't fit us and he will want way more than he's worth! PASS!!!!
