What the hell does the CBA, a labor agreement between the players union and the owners of the NFL, have to do with a discussion about whether the Titans' owner has the football acumen to identify strong general manager candidates?

because it's a schedule that outlines when and what your offseason will look like.

It's a pretty cookie cutter process finding a GM

I think this is an absolutely ridiculous thing to say.

Hiring the person who is ultimately responsible for every player your team drafts and signs to a contract is in no way a simple process. If it somehow was, we wouldn't see half a dozen GMs fired every year. The vast majority of teams get it wrong.

It's actually kind of baffling to me that you think it would be easy. This isn't Madden. You don't just pick Candidate A or Candidate B and hope for the best. This is real life. There are so many nuances involved.

Probably pointless even continuing this discussion if you can't appreciate that.

You are ridiculous, man. You truly believe the dumb stuff you say, huh?

I mean, I guess go on believing that hiring a good GM is as easy as flipping a coin. It's not like the entire history of pro sports proves that's an completely idiotic thing to say or anything.
