Excellent points! My impression is that we were up and down with our run fits. So bad fits equal gash but just as big a problem not stemming from a new system was tackling! Sometimes we had good fits and had multiple missed tackles! In general you are looking at back 7 players for this and this is where coaching and a lack of talent are issues! I think we had a lack of talent at LB in general and iffy tackling at S.

I expect the talent to increase, the fits to get better but you still have to make the tackle! Horton certainly needs to do better and I think with better tackling and an actual 4 man pass rush, our 3rd down %'will really improve and the d will be doing its part!

Now if we can just get a Hall of Fame offensive guru to come in and fix the offense.......
