Wow. I honestly did not realize it was THAT bad. I figured he'd be rated somewhere like 40ish?

I agree with all of those except 2. Griffin, which we talked about and Gooden. He is on a rookie deal, cost nothing, and is a solid special teamer with ok upside. Ok depth. I would add to your list: Al Wood and maybe Sammie Hill. If we sign Dan Williams, he and Daquan Jones are enough for NT.

How is Craig Stevens still on this team?

Do they just not know he's there? Dude just sits in a corner, says nothing and still gets paid?

He was put on IR very early last year.

I would add Al Woods to the cut list. He makes way too much to do nothing. Jones, Hill, and hopefully Dan Williams is enough inside. Woodyard doesn't get cut I bet. Led the team in tackles and has experience. We have too many needs to cut him. He and Zach Brown can fit for the starting spot. Also, if we sign McCourty, itll be to play with Griffin

Gooden would be a cut only because of the defense scheme change. Yes he is young and cheap, but he was drafted by the old staff to be Zach Brown's back-up as a weak side OLB. He has no spot in our current 3-4. He will likely make it to camp, but I would not be surprised if he didn't make the final 53 next year.

Neither of them deserve to be starting ILBs, would just end up a major weak spot come years end. We can fix it this year for the next 10 years... some studs at ILB will be available Day 2.

More referring to why he's on this team at all, before this year.

2008 he was drafted. That's a hell of a long time for someone who does very little.

    Cuts:
Michael Griffin- Don't care if he's a big name player and has been with us all these years. He was one of the worst players last year and doesn't deserve that contract. I honestly believe we have a good shot with McCourty.

Andy Levitre- eat the dead money. Don't want to see him rob us again next year.

Michael Oher- wouldn't be bad depth but would save some money now if we cut him

Bernard Pollard- the game is adapting and his strengths are either becoming extinct (strictly run support) or didn't live up to his promises (culture change, leader)

Shonn Greene- never liked his deal anyway, time for the Sankey/FA (Vereen?) show

Sammie Lee Hill- not worth his current contract. Bring in another filler and let him and Jones and a pick fight it out. Would consider cutting Woods as well.

Kam Wimbley- done with the ninja warrior

I would keep Woodyard for mostly depth. Him/Williamson/Brown isn't horrible. Bring in one more MLB. I would also bring back Morgan. He's not going to live up to the draft hype from a few years ago obviously but he's still a pretty good player. This is the case of not creating another hole since we already have a thousand. He's going to play on a team friendly deal, hope it's for us. Bring back Succop and Kern cut Stevens as well, and recruit Roos for RT.

What do you mean some studs? That's also very risky. We have no clue how they will turn out. Brown was a day 2 guy. These coaches liked him a lot before he got hurt. Maybe the injury helped him. Gave me a year to learn the system better. He and Woodyard will be good. No need to add there where we have bigger issues elsewhere.
