Superman down to 1...

We got alot of Batman fanboys in here

 

I've voted for Batman like 3 times lol.

Never been a big Superman fan but it's insane he's down to 1 while Supergirl has 4 and countless other jabronis are still on the list.

Green Arrow is overrated due to the show's popularity. He's really not that great of a superhero.

I expect Deadpool to possibly win the whole thing but IMO he's an overrated character.

Batman and Spiderman are in a class all their own.

 

In all honesty, I think Superman is a very bland/generic super hero.

 

I voted against him because I was anticipating nut riders.

That said y'all are completely wrong about Supes. Deeper character than Batman but is the victim of bad movies.

His books are solid. If you ever doubt how well Superman can be written just read All Star Superman. Don't watch the DVD, read the books. It is one of the best comics that has been put out in 20 years.

Dont get me wrong I like Batman alot but Superman is like the ultimate superhero.

But his popularity is at a low, and some of his old comics are pretty lame but his new 52 comics are good. They are definitely trying to give him a new image.

 

Only Superman I've read lately is All-Star Superman (and that's several years old at this point) but I really enjoyed that.

I agree Superman is the ultimate hero though. I think if you asked any person, regardless of how into comics they were, to name one superhero 98% would say either Superman, Batman or Spiderman. But knowing this forum Green Arrow or Deadpool is gonna end up winning.

Honestly, the one I'm most surprised with so far is Human Torch having 7. I've never thought of him as anything other than a C-list character.

 

That's definitely the best Superman story I've ever read. Although admittedly I haven't read many.

I'm hoping Superman can be saved in the mainstream by these new DC movies.

Man of Steel was good, not great.

That movie probably had the best trailer for such an average movie. The trailer still gives me chills. They made a two minute Superman movie that was better than the two hour one.
