Do you feel a disconnect to the team since they moved?

I can't drive to see home games, but I've had the Sunday Ticket for the last 6 years, so I don't miss any games. To answer your question, no.

I think Id feel disconnected if the team left my backyard... I know those fans in Memphis were holding onto the Titans for as long as they could, they got teased.

Maybe I'm just biased because football is so obsessed upon in Texas. I can't fathom how people can not support their team even when they struggle, it's such a great thing when you have a pro franchise. Some cities just aren't made for it

I'm in Texas and I was so happy when they left.

Granted, cause they moved to Tennessee. I hated Texas growing up and loved visiting Clarksville when I was a kid.

    Are you sure though?

You are a jilted Ex-Oiler fan that wants to see the team burn in Nashville. Sounds a lot like a Texans fan to me!

I seem to remember some pretty empty Astrodome games back in those days as well, and also remember a few fans wearing bags over their heads during games. Yeah, Adams left because he could not get a new stadium, but I would not make a claim that the Houston fans were piling outside of the Astrodome for every home game.

I think that the fans in Nashville support the Titans through tough times, but there is a difference between support and blind support IMO.

That was just that last year in Houston, the writing was on the wall and Bud was having at it with the city officials about their complete unwillingness to talk about a new stadium. He leaves and they cry for a new stadium, fair to say he was exactly right and sometimes you just have to pull the trigger, the city of Houston thought they were in control

You guys are over-thinking this too much. Mett is similar to arguably the greatest QB playing who is also one of the best QB's all time in Brady. Brady is VERY slow.

The hindrance is that they need a good OL which you have to build for them, but then it is up to Mett to have quick eyes and make quick reads and throw the damn ball. As a rookie you expect he won't be fast at this and with our poor OL, he had a lot of 3rd and longs to deal with which are even harder reads (as compared to going playaction on first down).

Mett has the arm and the accuracy (we think if he's not constantly under pressure). We need to give him (or any other QB) a good OL and he has to get quicker at reading defenses. I don't think he has a super long throwing motion. It would probably also help if he had a good #1 WR too.

I agree that the modern NFL QB can run...Rogers, Luck, Cam, etc but it is not needed to succeed.
