I don't think so ... not nearly as many people were outraged about the AP suspension as the Ray Rice non-suspension

back when I gave a crap about NASCAR whenever anyone not named Gordon or Earnhardt won a race their car would be given a post race technical inspection. Whenever Gordon or Earnhardt won a 'random' car would be selected

not sure exactly why but your thought brought that to my mind so enjoy!

    that would not hurt them

Again, my opinion is that if this was such a big deal and so easily subject to tampering then why do they even allow the team's access to the ball before kickoff for any time? As someone stated...the officials handled the balls throughout the game. Why did they not notice anything?

Why did the Colts sideline not alert the officials and have them check the balks during a time out or period break? I mean if it makes such a game changing difference according to the masses crying foul why would they not check during the game?

I just find this all a bit overboard. I wonder if this would have been such a huge deal if not the Pats.

I'm just tired of this damned team getting away with murder, just because they're a money maker.

It's been said belicheat does what he can to get by with an edge, just on the line of rule breaking.

If we did this kinda crap, we'd be fined out the ass.
One of the Colts players tweeted about straight up losing the game, deflated balls or not.

"Meanwhile, former NFL official Gerry Austin said on ESPN (via Bart Hubbuch of theNew York Post) that all 12 of the Colts’ footballs were properly inflated when checked at halftime and that the one out of 12 New England balls that was not two pounds under minimum was still underinflated."

So does this settle the "temperature theory" then? Is it now official they deflated the balls? Looks that way.

The temperature thing is not theory in that cold weather compresses air but I never said that was the major reason for it.
