Is Mettenberger "our guy?"

Just relaying what I heard from the Radio interview. Besides he was less than a year removed from ACL surgery. His confidence in his knew probably was not sky high. An extra 6-7 months will be great for him to get his confidence back and gain some agility. He knows that's a weakness, why would we think he will do nothing to improve it?

I'm hoping Bucs take Winston. I think Mariota would be much better trade bait. Jets and Eagles would get in a bidding war over him.

That wouldn't be much of a war. The Jets have way more ammunition than the Eagles do purely based on position. The Eagles would need throw in some of the next year's picks just to keep pace with what the Jets have this year.

Based on the trade value chart the Titans' #2 pick is worth 2600 points. The entire Eagles draft is worth 1367.2. For the Eagles to be involved they'd need to agree to swap first rounders(difference is 1750 remaining) this year and add this year's second and third(a difference on 1200) along with next year's first(a difference of about 600 since future picks are usually devalued a round) to even have a shot.

As much as I'd love to accumulate that many picks, I don't see it happening.

 

So who we taking at #1 next year for our franchise QB?

Look, nobody is trading up for either of these guys; I think many people are going to be surprised come draft day. We will not take either QB, considering our recent debacles with drafting franchise quarterbacks high. The quarterback we'd draft will have to be squeaky clean, no-brainer type and that quarterback clearly does not exist in this draft.
