Wait what? Compared to Jake Locker's? Please go ahead and look at their stats and QBR. Locker only played 5 games his first year and 11 his second, so you can count those 2 years as 1 if you'd like.

I'm still in the same boat as you in terms of him being overrated, but he's definitely getting better. I just don't get the talk of him being the very best QB in the league. Not sure how that can even be said when there are several Super Bowl winning QBs with better resumes than him still playing. He's definitely better than Peyton right now though.

I wouldn't say he's only capable of dump offs at all. Dude can sling it... and put it on the money. But yes, he also does some really bad things and gets away with poor decisions a lot. The Pats playoff game last year was a great example of Luck doing great things and terrible things in the same game. I expect more of the same against the Pats this weekend.

He's unarguably top 10 at this point, and he's slowly rising up my list. I hate it, but he's getting better and better.

There's no doubt the guy is on his way to reaching (and winning) Super Bowls. With Peyton done and Brady likely only having 2-3 years, Luck is likely to take over as the AFC's best QB and we'll be seeing him

We can only hope that it will be Luck vs a Titans QB in many AFC Championships to come.

I would kill for Luck to be our QB. I wish we could turn back time and go into a full on tank war with them in 2011. They'd still be d*cking around with backup QBs... and we'd routinely be in the playoffs.

Glad I am not the only one who notices this. Literally never witnessed as many dropped picks in my life. If those were picked can you only imagine how different games and even his career may be.

His pass game relies on screens and underneath crossing routes. He then throws up long balls which rely on the WR more than the qb. Overblown.

So let's be real about what he is and what he is NOT. Is he the BEST QB in the league? No...but he's close.

He led the league with 40 TD passes and added 3 more on the ground for 43 total TD's. He had 16 INT's (and what no one will tell you) and 6 lost fumbles for 22 turnovers. Still a 2:1 margin which is good. But his numbers are a bit inflated as he's had to carry the offense without much help. Take a look at what Rogers and Brady have and Luck's group aren't close. Even Peyton had Marshall Faulk and then another elite RB and WR's.

So what Luck has been able to do with not a whole lot is very impressive and the fact he's putting up such big numbers with less talent than other HOF's had at his stage does lead you to believe that if they can get him some weapons, he will be the best QB or arguably the best QB soon. He HAS to force too many balls for them to have a chance to win. With some more playmakers (say give HIM Demaryius Thomas and Julian Thomas) his TD's might stay there (or even go up) and his turnovers will go down and they will win more big games against better teams.

We would happily trade any 3 players we have for Luck and Indy would correctly decline. He IS that good! I would also trade our entire draft for him!

Just rofl at the forced pass thing. Have you watched a colts game. He literally throws the ball to a defender just standing there. That's no force. If I threw 40 times per game I could rangle up 200 yards every game throwing screens and underneath crossing routes 80 percent of the time. He is good, no where near the decision makers that manning or brady are. Hell luck at Russell Wilson and his bum offence. He somehow does pretty well with that team, is he a god?

LOL! If YOU could throw 200yds a game with an 80% completion percentage, why are you not only a starting QB in this league, but an elite one at that???

I have watched 5 Colts games this season which includes the 2 vs the Titans. So when he's throwing 30yd back shoulder throws for TD's, what is that in your mind...the WR throwing it on time and accurately...or can you make those throws yourself 80% of the time?

To set you straight...Luck threw the 3rd most passes in the NFL this season. Matt Ryan and Drew Brees both threw more passes. Brees threw 1 MORE INT than Luck but 7 FEWER TD's. Ryan threw 2 fewer INT's but 12 FEWER TD's. This means he was better than both of them in this regard. Oh, and before you go back to your he throws 100 screens a game and it's all his vaunted WR's...he had a 7.7ypa. That is BETTER than both Brees and Stafford. Are they throwing shorter screens all game?

And as far as Russell Wilson goes, Wilson is surrounded by a very good offense called the #1 rushing attack in the NFL. When you have the BEST run game, it takes a lot of pressure off your defense. What does Luck get to help him? A strong running game? No. The best defense in the league? No.

But to compare them directly (which Wilson has the advantage of his run game and defense), Wilson throws 10 fewer passes a game but has HALF the TD's that Luck has. So Luck throws a higher % of TD's per pass. They both have a 7.7 ypa but Luck has the higher QB rating.

But yeah, I could see why you'd think a player with more advantages and lesser stats would be better than Luck!

    /sarcasm off

Reggie Wayne saves his as a lot... One of the best WRs in the game will do that.

He's good... but very overrated. At least until this division becomes better than **** will I give anyone credit for making the playoffs... then beating the annual 1-and-done Bengals - all Houston ever did when they were contenders... then took advantage of a Broncos team that was so bad and played so poorly, the coaching staff is done.

Good, yeah... not impressed yet. Beat NE without quirky **** - like NE sucking all of a sudden or forgetting how to play football - and I'll start getting impressed.

    Good, but overhyped.

Exactly. Most of the negatives of Luck's play are just bad decisions that will decrease as he gets more experience. The guy is a beast of a QB. I don't like it, but it's true.

I live in the Philly area, and we hate Sidney Crosby with a passion....but just like I say to fellow Flyers fans, if he were in orange and black, everyone would be singing a different tune. Luck is no different with us Titan fans. We dislike the Colts, but it sure would be nice to have a guy like Luck in two tone blue!
