I hope the pats stomp the ravens, and I dunno if I want caveman or horseface to win....

Cowboys can suck it, but we all know they're going all the way because Goodell wills it.

 

Were the announcers really saying Cam Newton was playing well? He fumbled twice(lost one and the other cost them a first down), threw two picks and two easy INTs were dropped by Sherman and Thomas. Other than that he played awesome....

 

I'm just surprised how John Harbaugh can be a NFL coach if he's never seen a tackle eligible formation before....

 

I don't think it was exactly that. I could be wrong, lord knows that's rare but he was mad because they were running a hurry up and the tackle was telling the ref he was a eligible receiver at the last minute, not giving Harbaugh and the Ravens def time to adjust.

 

Harbaugh has won one more Super Bowl than any coach in our history, and his teams have been a regular participant in January games since he has been there, so I will cut him a bit of slack here.

 

It should not be the tackle nor the referees job to tell the Ravens who is eligible. Secondly there was no hurry up. They ran a lineman off the field, so unless the referees made a mistake, time was given to subsitute for the Ravens. The fact that their booth couldn't tell which potentially eligible receivers came onto the field and how they lined up is not the Patriots problem (or the NFL's for that matter).

 

Just like with the QBs in the upcoming draft, just because you're better than others doesn't mean you're actually good!

And I actually think Harbaugh knows the formation and legality of it perfectly well and is just crying like a little baby.

Dez Bryant just got Calvin-Johnsoned. That was a case where the rule book should be thrown out. That was clearly a catch.

 

The "going to the ground" rule. It sucks, but at least for once it was correctly applied.
