    And you do?

When you're possibly about to spend a valuable draft pick, certainly it's better to be skeptical and ask questions, than to assume everything is fine. And that goes for all players.

Let me start off by saying I no longer want to draft a QB. I would much rather build up the D.

    Defense wins championships.

And to answer your question, yes I do know. I pretty much know everything in the world. There is some stuff I slack in like grammar and stuff of that nature.

So because he also plays baseball that means he is not passionate enough for football?? That's stupid as hell.

Guess who else was a baseball star in college?? Russell Wilson.

He must really lack passion for the game, I'm soooooo glad we didn't draft him.

Throwback, Bo Jackson was a 2 sport athlete in baseball and football at Auburn.

Like I said, YOU are not there with Winston, YOU are not the one that's going to be interviewing Winston, so how can YOU determine he has no passion?

Not the same at all. Attitude, aptitude, and willingness to learn/adapt are things that are likely already there or never will be. Him playing baseball won't change that. Also, he can be the closer for FSU while preparing for the draft. People act like him playing baseball means he will do zero draft prep if he decides to come out.

A lot of the combine preparation is the equivalent of a girl getting all dressed up for a first date. Sure she looks really nice when you pick her up but good luck actually getting that same girl a few weeks/months/years down the road.

Hell, Bo did it professionally. So did Deion Sanders.

You're right it doesn't change it, it just reinforces that it isn't there.

I believe his quote was that his focus wasn't on the draft, but on baseball. Again, I'm not spending a first round pick on someone who puts playing baseball before draft preparation. The problem for me isn't that he wants to play some baseball on the side, the problem is he said it was his focus right now.

Jameis Winston’s NFL career could be put on hold. Winston was mum on his future immediately following Florida State’s 59-20 Rose Bowl loss to Oregon on Thursday, insisting he’s focused on the Seminoles’ upcoming baseball season rather than whether he’ll be suiting up for an NFL franchise in 2015.

“I’m not focused on that at all,” Winston told reporters after Thursday’s game when asked whether he would leave school early. “I’m looking forward to next season and playing baseball. So I’m just trying to get better every day.”

Not a single word about the draft in his quote. Talks about next season(presumably 2015 at FSU, since he says he isn't focused on the draft)Per the usual something gets blown out of proportion and twisted.

Zero passion!! He just goes through the motions.

Serious note, they ask him that after losing his first college game in his college career and it was the Rose Bowl.

Provided he doesn't declare for the draft, sure. But if he does then it's a valid concern.
