Which free agents should the Titans try to obtain?

I think if we have all intentions of just having him backup Mett, then pass. I think he's going to come at a bit of a high price. If we don't draft a QB in the first round then I think its clear the titans are going with Mett and we could save the money we'd use on Hoyer, get a cheaper backup and spend money elsewhere.

Realistically my targets would be:

Pernell McPhee or Odrick at DE
Worilds at OLB but I'm hardly high on him as some
McCourty at S
Crabtree at WR
Mathews at RB
Iupati at G
Bulaga at T

I would be happy with 3-4 of those. Preferably those that play on the line.

Trade back in the draft and take Danny Shelton at NT and an edge rusher

 

thats a solid list you put together, any of those guys would be an improvement

 

Switch Cobb with Crabtree and Okafor with Worilds and im sold.

 

Worlids is better and we have a Cobb in Wright, that list was actually a well thought out wish list, most seems within reason of possibly happening

Either WR/ Dez Bryant or RB/DeMarco Murray whichever one Dallas does not resign. I agree with everyone on paying RB's because they are a dime a dozen, but I would pay (an elite RB) Murray to take pressure off of Zach.

LB/ Daryl Washington (coming off suspension, Arizona may not want to bring him back)
WR/Josh Gordon (I would offer a 5th round pick for him)

Fall back:
OLB/DE Jerry Hughes
TE/ Jermaine Gresham

 

Cleveland needs a QB (Manziel has been a joke), and since there are no real FA options, they may end up drafting one high. Maybe we could parlay our #2, for both their 1sts (#12, #19) & Gordon.

Not saying I would do this though.

 

While I agree with you in a sense, I also completely disagree. You don't think signing Revis to be the #1 and moving McCourty to #2 doesn't substantially improve our D? I don't expect the Pats to let either Revis or McCourty walk, but if they do I want both.

 

Mathews is always hurt though. Replace him with Ingram (who I know was hurt to start the year) and I'm all for it!
