All in on Mett?

This is my stance on Mett. I've not seen such great play from him that warrants handing him the job other than the fact that he hasn't been as bad as our other 2 QBs. Now if he comes out and just blows the competition away and earns the job, I will show him love.

 

Randall Cobb and Thomas would both suck with our QB situation. Cobb is no better than Wright. Put Wright with Rodgers and we would be good too. Same goes for Thomas.

 

I'm a firm believer im drafting a QB each year. Has just as much success rate as any late round prospect. If I was a young Qb I would be more worried about young competetion than a vet.

Mett also compares to Billy Volek the guy puts up stats in garbage time. Good for fantasy but not real life. I am pleased with how he played but this guy also got hurt several times, never won a game, and has major issues with the blitz. I just hope we do not just go with them without trying to upgrade the position. And clipboard is no competition, I pray he is not back.

 

This is most important to me. It's not just a knock on Mett but the fact that our QB group right now is pathetic as a whole and we should be open to all options to upgrade.

Manning (1-4)
Luck (2-3)
Mett (0-5)

 

I think Mett is the only QB to survive as a Titan for next year. They sign a better veteran option than Whitehurst and draft a guy second or third round. Then, throw them in in the ring and see who wants it more.
