    why does everyone think Warner carried Whiz? At one point in the middle of his career Warner was not so good.

    Warner gave Whiz the reputation as a winning coach, and when left to his own devices.. whiz failed big time.

    Warner's miraculous postseason run made Whiz a legitimate head coaching candidate.. without Warner.. he'd never be a head coach candidate again.

    If a coach can succeed without a potential HOF QB.. then that is a legit coach.

    Warner inflated his status bigger than it should have been. Dungy is similar.. but at least he had some success previously, before Manning. Dungy was smart.. got out when he knew his ship was sailing. Throw idiot Caldwell to the wolves.

    Whiz got this job based on what Kurt Warner did, those years ago.. plain as day.

    My biggest fear is this team goes 4-12 or 5-11 and it's considered "progress" and we end up keeping him longer.
