I suspect the NFL "braintrusts" will begin to tear down each players game in the combine/workouts that happen prior to the draft. Neither one is worthy of the Number one pick.

 

Always funny how the tearing down begins around January. Draft prospects at the top of the chain now will get shifted all over the board.

Im all for taking Winston...but my gut tells me Tampa..and every team in the top 5 maybe top 10 passes on mariota. Tampa gonna take Winston, I believe anyone with eyes can see mariota won't be long in the NFL. Probably will have a cute rookie season..maybe even a decent second year...but not much after that.

I jus want nothing to do with mariota in two tone blue.

 

I think what scares me with him is he requires proper development time. He's gotta be asked to throw where he's obviously uncomfortable. That's going to be the Blaine gabbert show unless the kids been doing it forever in practice but it's hard to imagine he's going to click over night.

Winston tho a bone head, is the real deal.

 

Mariota is not a top pick type qb nowadays for sure...he'd be much better off falling to the second or third round and going to a team that's built already...putting him on Tampa/us/nyj is attrainwreck waiting to happen. Kinda sux cuz like jake he seems like a hardworking good dude.

 

I saw a video of an analyst forget who saying he talked to people and mariota when asked to do a drop back took 4 steps back. Wtf
