Bishop Sankey is twice as good as Chris Johnson

Unfortunately it seems like i was right on the money with sankey.

 

Hill-180 carries 965 yards
Sankey-148 carries 551 yards

There were a few of us who saw his college tape and thought "yup, this guy will get 3-5 yards per carry and that's literally it."

But that's majority of the fans and I guess the staff wanted.

Sankey is not dynamic at all. It would be one thing if he was a UDFA or super late round pick, but first RB taken? I was pissed off. Makes no sense at all.

Hill runs better, pass blocks better.

But who needs that when the guy you drafted has "nice hands."

 

We passed on Hill, Mason, and Hyde for Sankey. He's 4th in his class at best.

 

I'd also take McKinnon, Crowell, West, Blue, Williams, Thomas, Carey over Sankey.

Sankey for me was literally a "please any running back but him" pick.

I actually think we need to give Antonio Andrews a look next week. I honestly believe he is better than Sankey.

I think sankey is better than he looked this year. Our o line is beyond horrible, our pass game sucks so the opposing d has to respect nothing. Any rookie qb you compare him to has a better oline and passing game, that has a huge impact on a rb.

 

You see the 85 yard TD run just now vs Denver MNF - Sankey only wishes he could do that ...
