Cutler on the cheap - sure. To back up Mett.
If it keeps us out of the house fire that is Winston, hell yes.

Lmao we were only ahead 29 of his plays, bet that lasted long. Just look at the drop off when the games tied.

All that shows is his rating. What it does prove is how un-competitive we are with him with only 11% of his plays coming from us being in the lead, probably all coming from the steeler game.

Yes and no. Whiz helped him a lot. It's a good fit but the injury concerns plus his play of late isn't inspiring.

This is a bad year to need a QB. And so many teams do. Second pick, you try to replicate the patriots way and sell it for a foundation in the defense. Ride mettenberger and get him a real WR.

Wright is a slot guy. Hunter isn't a pro.

2 things; did you see Saturday nights game vs SF? And the injury is the same Tony Romo just had, nothing of major concern. Plus he's been playing at a high level with the torn disc, so even if he toughs it out, he's shown he wont miss games.

I agree that Mett didn't necessarily "Kill" it, but in the little he did play, he was WAY better than Locker showing much more promise as well. Remember, he doesn't have much talent around him, or protection out of his OL. I think he did great all things considered for a 6th round pick. That being said, there is no doubt that they could use some good veteran competition around him.

Yes I did. His release has been drastically altered by it. It has never been pretty and then Saturday me and all my boys were like "yo something wrong" - sure he turned it out and showed up late but let's be realistic, we ain't getting rivers.

So back to reality. Sell our pick to the highest bidder. Build the core we obviously don't have.

I'll compare it to stafford and the lions. Above average QB, best wr in the game. ( arguably but may not be anymore) and terrible defense which has seen a huge turn around after losing so often while being competitive.

Been going ham getting that defense right. Bringing in pieces to help stafford and finally some real success. Playoffs and a dangerous team. They havnt been as lucky as the Seahawks at getting late round stars, but foundation in the lines and weapons on both sides.

Mett beat the steelers. The defense lost the game.

Yes qbs are nĂºmero uno but who you getting? And let's not talk about players we obviously don't have a shot at.
