We just lose out and we will get one of them. But is it really gonna be better with Mariota or Winston?

    Winston has bryon leftwich release.

    Mariota is a system qb.

Mario looks good on paper. Even better character.

Cigs could be a game changer and whiz could give 2 ****s about character concerns. If he's there, I'd bet we take him over the duck

Winston is clutch though. You can't teach that in a QB.

This is true. My only concerns with that are with his release. I need to watch more film on both still. I do think cooper is a smarter choice in the long run.

I wouldn't be mad with Cooper, but he isn't the biggest need.

I just spent the last hour and a half going over Cigs.

Less concerned about his elongated release now. His anticipation REALLY stands out against the pressure.

The ball is normally fully cocked before the wr makes his break. Top of the stem dimes.

Mechanics (I'm a mechanic nazi) are sketchy at best However - I've done this enough that I will take my Carr breakdown from last year and give Winston the same treatment now seeing Carr has excelled like I finally anticipated.

It's never pretty. But it's clutch and effective.

Pocket awareness is above par. Movement is solid and his ability to breath while under pressure allows him to pull the trigger when needed. Last second.

His ability to put the ball where he needs it while not being able to step up/have perfect form is impressive.

Arm talent will get him in trouble. He has cases of heroism in his play that you would rather him throw it away.

He can work well within the system, within the play. He can also work well while things break down. He is less athletic than I believed him to be. A step above Tom Brady. Probably below Big Ben. lol just enough to survive.

I see traits of jay cutlers arm talent.

I voted for Eli, but I would be okay with giving Mett another chance. I think we need to grab the best pass rusher available and work on our defense. Then try and fix this o-line.

But if the coaches feel strongly like one of those rookie QBs can be great I guess I won't complain if we draft him... until the season starts and he sucks.
