Glaring stat, but... gotta consider several variables.

Same here. Sankey is not very good btw. McCluster is getting more carries than Sankey as of late. That's saying something.

Sankey is guaranteed back, playing two older vets ahead of him IMO is Whiz letting guys showcase their skills for their next team.

Yeahhh I'm sure that's why. Sankey had 3 very ineffective carries yesterday.

Regardless of what you or whiz THINKS, the guy needs a game where he gets more than 10 touches. He needs a game of 20+ touches to see if he improves with more PT. It's not about him being a "scrub" or being anything. It's about giving the younger guy a chance to improve. We are already dead I the water this year. Playing Greene so much was dumb. He didn't accomplish anything either, 15 carries for 50yds.

As a coach it would of been much better to get the young guy a game with a real workload of at least 20 carries. You as a CJ fan know or should that it can click with more touches.

Either way, for the team, the young players should be getting a chance to play as much as possible. Greene is unlikely to be back & shouldn't, but one of the younger backs could prove something.

As far as the stat goes - it's not frequent when an HC repeats a #1 or last place stat with two different teams.
IE no head coach has ever won a super bowl with two teams. I think even an appearance in a SB as head coach with two teams is uber-rare (which of course doesn't bode well for Whiz already).

All that said, I'd say a portion of this particular stat is owed to Whiz.
The fact that he's had re-fried beans at QB rotation in two instances is an obstacle but it's also how he deals with that situation...

I don't know. Why risk injury to Sankey? He is going to be the starter next year unless a draftee makes a play in TC. Looked what happened to Mett trying to get him more playing time.

If the decision to keep is made, let these guys duke it out in TC.

I would agree with that if Sankey had proven he can be a feature back, but at this point he has not. Really it is not on him, he has not had the opportunity to do so. That is exactly why he should be getting at least one game where he gets 20+ touches. He hasn't had a game with that many touches all year. There is no way to say that he is capable of being the feature back. I believe he can, I hope he can, but at this point he has not had the chance to prove it.
