Another thing, La Canfora is buddy buddy with Rappoport (the same guy that said the Titans would pursue Jay Cutler).

I don't doubt this team will be getting sold in the near future but the names brought up...not so much.

I was answering a question regarding if one person can own stakes in two teams. You cant. It's a conflict of interest. Not once did I say he would or would even have interest in doing this. La Canfora is the one that wrote the article. Not me.

I'd be fine with it. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time that Manning owned the Titans.

 

Yeah, that is true.

I am not a Manning fanboy, but I really don't dislike him. I would be more comfortable with the team sticking around in Nashville with him in the ownership group, plus I really would like the idea of having a group from Tennessee (not Houston) owning the team.

That said, this is speculation at this point.
