Also easier to hit from a defensive perspective. Which is why he is on the IR now.

The reason he is on the IR is because we have some no name stiff protecting his blindside and the coaching staff didn't seem to care about giving him any help. I place his getting hurt more on the coaching staff.

My theory on Warmack is that he has gotten so fat he has obtained a gravitational pull and opposing defenders cannot get away from him. Pretty soon he will switch to tight end and any football thrown his way will get stuck in his orbit.

I remain optimistic that he can turn it around and be elite. I was so excited to draft him and so far he's been turdish.

I don't always ascribe to that kind of 'proof.' That is someones subjective opinion of how he is playing on each play. They are not NFL coaches grading him. Neither am I but I will grade him and others when I have the time to see if I agree with this improvement.

I would not move him to LG. Why? Just because he played it in college doesn't mean it's a better fit for him. For one, he's a more natural run blocker than pass protector and he will face better pass rushers at LG than at RG.

It may also be that the 'light' is turning on for him. He has more limitations athletically so knowing who to block and how to get to that point are more important for him. Also, he has tended to overreach atting himself off-balance in the few times I've watched him on missed blocks. A lot of time that means he's slow to know who to block or late getting there.

Right now I'm enjoying scouting college players. When that slows down, i'll rewatch some games and see what's been going on.

    If
If what you're saying is true, Fat Chance is truly sad. To be threatened to bring out your best play is highly disturbing. When I played football I played 110% on every play because my pride to be the best wouldn't let me slack off. Those kind of players are not the ones you want playing for your team believe me.

Sure seems funny that he actually starts playing well for the first time in almost two years after Tommy Boy comes out with the whoop ass.
