Oh yeah. How did he play in the most important game of the year so far? The SEC championship game. He comes out to play when it matters most.

Well, we do not cut Levitre because he cost too much money to cut. We only save $200,000 by doing so. Its not worth it. Have him be a backup a worst. We already have depth issues, no reason to make it worse. Hopefully it clicks with Lewan next to him next year.

Same with Griffin, we only save 2.6 million of his 8 million contract. He has not played great this year, but we don't have anyone better. He is one of the few leaders we have and always plays hard. Coaches like him, he isn't going anywhere. No reason to act like he will. I think he is over paid as well, but cant do anything about that know. He was the main player I was talking about when I said that some players play better around other talented players. Hopefully we can find better players to help him. He is a free safety who makes plays on the back end, not one we need up in the box.

I actually forgot that Wilson is a free agent. I would keep him. Pollard, Griffin, Stafford, Huff, and either McCourty or Rookie is a solid S core.

Wood is cut because he has done noting while here. If Jones can have the impact he has have (nothing) why keep him as a NT? We would only have $500,000 in dead cap and save 2.1 million for nothing. Id assume we draft and sign a DT. The new player plus Jones is good. Maybe Hill as well if he stays. Coaches like him so I bet he does. Though, we would save $4 million if we do cut him with only $666,666 in dead cap. Recap- we cut Hill and Wood. Have $1 million in dead cap and save 6 million. That would get us a legit NT to pair with Jones and a rookie.

I still wouldn't cut him. His potential is still too good to cut. Maybe he figures it out? After next season his dead cap space goes down. We cannot for $200,000 sign anyone.

He's peaked, and unfortunately for us we paid him after his best years. Andy Levitre never was a stud, just merely the best free agent of a bad batch.

I would rather Bevell & Ryan. I do not like running QBs. They are injuries waiting to happen in most cases. I want a guy that is mobile enough to get away & get a 1st if he NEEDS to, but is looking down field.

That is only true in theory. Both sides would have to agree on the money. The city of Nashville is never going to agree to a buyout. The city has grown by a great deal with an NFL team. They are giving that up with VERY little hope of ever luring another team here. If there is a move it will not be until that lease is up IMO.

I could be wrong, strange things happen everyday. I highly doubt it though.

It's rare to see a franchise fire a 1st year HC. Most of the ones that do only do so with a GM change. If a GM change comes then I am on board. I will cut ties with any part of the coaching staff for a new GM.

You are stuck on the HC so much, what about the guy that put these players on the roster???
