Is Mettenberger "our guy?"

    Seriously, how can he truly be evaluated at this point. He is out his two starting WR's, the oline is decimated with the only true starters being our two worst.

    With all of this talent around Mett, he should be doing better.

    It doenst matter that our WR's cant catch, our line cant block, two TE's are on IR, our best TE still drops easy passes, and our running game is non existent. The guy should still be standing in the pocket and making this team competitive.

    I don't think any QB in the league could win a game if they were playing for this team. No, Mett isn't the answer. Nobody is.

    Why as Titans fans do we make

    EVERY EXCUSE FOR A GUY?? I don't get it. Well maybe if Locker was given a full season... Maybe if Mett just had a healthy line... Maybe if Hunter worked out some more... on and on and on. Sometimes guys aren't the answer.

    The problem is those issues have been present all season. Our starting WRs were crap. Our starting Oline was crap. The other two QBs got no help either. This team is all around bad.

    I don't know what else people were expecting.

    Why as a Titans fan do you never give anyone a chance? You expect every player to come out from the 1st snap and be HoF caliber?

    Has he been Montana? no. Has he been Ryan Leaf? no.

    Has he played well with what he has been given so far, yes.

    I don't expect him to be HoF caliber. But I get annoyed when I see like posts for you making every excuse for this guy, just like everyone did for Locker for years. Gimme a break.

    So why is everyone bitching, when they saw this was an issue from the beginning?


    Lack of talent and good players are our problem. Mett, has at least shown some promise, and has made dumb throws. The ONLY other people on the offense that has done the same are Lewan, Sankey (subjective), Wright, and Walker (who still drops easy passes)
