Don't get all the hate on Webster. He has only been on charge of 3 drafts. 3! Two in which have been good. Lets take a look while we are at it.

    2012:
    Wright- good pick
Brown- Hard to tell since he is hurt. Had a great rookie year. Has potential to succeed in this defense.
Martin- Good rotational guy and has seen a bit of success when he plays consistently.
Sensabaugh- Starting CB at nickel, second best db on the team.
Round 5-7 Non factors like most drafts

2013: This is an below average draft for sure
Warmack- Early still but looks average
    Hunter- no description needed
Wreh-Wilson- I still have hope, playing hurt doesn't help
    Gooden- Incomplete
    Schwenke- Great value pick
    Rds 5-6 Non factors
Stafford- Possibly our starting S next year, looks good in limited time now. Good 7th round find

    2014:
Lewan- LT of the future. Always a great pick when you find that
Sankey- Jury is out, had success recently. RB sometimes need a year to get adjusted with a better Oline
Jones- Coaches like him, behind a log jam. Expect more next year.
Huff- Looks to be a solid player with some more experience
Williamson- Finding a solid starting MLB in round 5, very good
Mett- Finding you starting QB in round 6, phenomenal

He has had success in the draft. A lot more success than failures. There have not been any huge flops under his drafts. Hunter and Warmack need to step it up this next year. Maybe Smiths comments will motivate them. His FA signings have been ok as well. Levitre has not been what we hoped, but you cant blame him for the signing, every single person here would have done the same and loved the signing. Walker has been great. Ropatit has been a very solid starter for us. Hill, McCluster and Woodyard have been average, I think they play better with better talent around them. Greene sucked and he will be cut. The one big miss for him even though Greene was coming off a 1,000 yard season. Same with Oher, but credit Webster for making that contract essentially a one year deal if he sucked, we are not on the hook for another dollar after this year if we cut him, which we will.

He has not done much to warrant GM of the year, but have not done much to get fired either. We cannot expect him to hit %100, but need more hits than not, which he has done. We have money this year, he knows what Wiz wants, lets see what he does.

His FA pick ups have been abysmal.

If we still employed Kevin Matthews and Lavelle Hawkins Id side with the Webster critics, but he's always actively getting us better players than we had. The only thing Ive been critical about is him not addressing CB coming into 2014, but I get that you can't fix everything every year and sometimes you take a gamble with young players.

Webster was VP of player personnel 2 years prior to our promoting him from within. Let's get that straight. He has had MAJOR influence on the drafts for 5 years.

And what impact 1st and 2nd rounders has Webster produced during that 5 year period?

Levitre just hasn't worked out. He was considered the best OL free agent and Munchak wanted him. He has been a disappointment . Green as well was a munchak guy who could get that shirt yardage first down. Just hasn't worked out either.

    Absolutely true.

Webster was at the podium after the Locker pick with Munch and Reinfeldt. He is just as responsible for this dumpster fire as anyone.

Don't try to justify those drafts being decent.

All of our drafts except for this year's have sucked.

The fact that some of you guys see Wright, Brown and Warmack as anything but negatives on Webster's record makes me shake my head. All average at best and all were early picks. That alone is enough to consider firing Webster.
