Losing interest in the NFL

Been an Oilers/Titans fan since 87'. I cant quit without seeing us win a SB. I know I'll never quit being a fan I guess.

Goodell has a lot to answer for. The game will change again soon enough. If the titans were scoring throwing 5-6 TD's a game I'd take it. Favouring the offense only sucks if your on the receiving end if it.

My interest in the NFL has hit an all-time low this season...

Has a lot to do with how bad we've been. This season was the most excited I've been about the Titans in a long time (since we finally made changes). By week 3 it was pretty obvious we sucked.

Since then my interest has been solely invested in fantasy football. Without FF, I would have very little interest in the NFL due to the fact that we suck so much.

The funny thing was before the season started I said we would go 2-14 if we lost to the Cowboys... but that was because I thought the Cowboys were awful. I may end up being right by accident.

 

I watch the Titans games, but I rarely watch any other games. It wasn't like that in the past.

I hate fantasy football. I played for years, but now whenever I hear co-workers talking about how they lost because they started Anthony Fasano over Charles Clay, I want to hulk smash everything in sight.

 

I still and will always love the NFL, but reality hits me when I watch the Broncos, Patriots, Seahawks, and Packers and realize that we have a really long way to go to be competitive like that.

It's just draining seeing the same teams stay competitive year after year, while we continue to constantly go 6-10 to 8-8.

 

i just watch JJ Watt mike'd up vs. Titans, that ish was embarrassing. He was so disrespectful while he was kicking our arses. I hope some of our players get motivated, he was treating them like a bunch of females. This team is soft, i'm not used to this, we shoulda kept gregg williams and that 4-3. My life been a little down and this B.S. don't help. smh. #GoTitans
