Mett is at his ceiling. What you see is what you get. Peyton was a 1st rounder btw.

The only thing is that all 3 of those QB's have a supporting cast that is worse than ours.

How can you say that Mett is at his ceiling. The kid has started 4 games and is still less than a year out from tearing his ACL. Mett has plenty to learn. And what the F does Peyton being drafted in the 1st have to do with anything?

I suppose. Unfortunately he won't be playing Wake Forest and Boston College in the NFL.

Look at 1st years of some great QBs. Maybe Mett isn't the guy, but his numbers have been on par with some of the better QBs in the game now.

    Time Before Pass Average:
Mett: 2.45 seconds, Manning: 2.37, Brady: 2.54, Rogers: 2.63, Wilson: 2.82 (These numbers for other QBs are from ESPN 2014 not 1st years) Very respectable IMO.
** Pre Season & The Baltimore games are examples of him holding the ball too long; but he has been doing much better with this & his average shows it.

    Completion % & Attempted Passes:
    Mett: 58.8 / 136, Manning: 56.7 / 575, Brady: 63.9 / 413,
    Rogers: 63.6 / 536, Luck: 54.1 / 627, Wilson: 64.1 / 393
** Completion % on par with QBs who have went on to win Super Bowls.

Total Yards & Per Game Average:
    Mett: 1103/275.75, Manning: 3739/233.66,
    Brady: 2843/189.53, Luck: 4374/273.37, Wilson: 3118/194.87
** We haven't seen yardage numbers like these from a QB in quite some time. Nearly 300yds/game!!

    Yards Per Pass Average:
    Mett: 8.11, Manning: 6.50, Brady: 6.88, Rodgers: 7.53,
    Luck: 6.97, Wilson: 7.93
** Nearly every completed pass (58.8%) is less than 2yds from a 1st down!! Granted some of these yards are from pass plays of over 20yds, but I will take that over what we have seen from our other options any day!

All this aside, I still am not convinced that Mett is going to be the Franchise QB we have been looking for. It is still too early. However, I do believe he has earned a little bit of respect. From me at this point anyway.

What are you basing this on? 4 games, and you say he simply cant get better. I'm curious what your reasoning is.
