I don't know how you guys keep doing this to yourselves. I haven't watched a snap of titans football since week four or five. Makes my Sundays much better.

Somebody needs to hop the fence at LP the night before our next home game and dump a couple hundred pounds of bird seed on the field.

Okay, I'll probably ramble but here goes.

    The bad

    - Blocking was a massive issue today. Couldn't get anything going in the run game as Levitre was constantly getting beat and we weren't getting any push in general. I hope Tommy meant what he said about how he doesn't care what it takes financially to make the team decent again. He was beaten for at least 3 of the sacks, where he either failed to make the block, or didn't even get a chance to make one as stunts just killed him. He has to go next season. I'd rather see what else we have on the team at the minute, I'd like to see if our backups at least have what it takes to be a backup, because if Levitre is actually better than them, they have to go too.

Continuing from this, Mett had a few throws suffer due to having defenders in his face due to the lack of protection, which led to incompletions; some of them being potentially catchable balls, but bad throws none the less.

    - Our kick returning needs work. It's a rare sight to see us not have to start inside the 20 yard line. Stop trying to take the ball out of the endzone. It isn't working. Sure, Leon got one decent return, but I'd rather consistently start at the 20, than the 15 most of the time, with the off chance to start beyond the 20.

    - Receivers. Too many dropped balls again. Some were a bit off, but a fair few of them were still catchable. The drops killed us, and until we get this sorted, we're going to stay worst in the league in 3rd down for a long time. I didn't see the last 5 mins of the game as I had to run an errand, but apparently Hunter completely pussed out of trying to contest the pass that was picked off? If that's the case, you need to fight to force it to be an incompletion rather than a turnover.

    - The run game. A common story of this season is that we abandon the run game. It happened again today and is another big reason why our 3rd down percentage is total trash.

    - Defense was getting gashed by the run and made Sanchez look like a QB. We need to improve.

The so ugly I wouldn't even touch it when drunk and desperate

    -
The opening play of the game. Inexcusable.

    - Griffin. He made one big hit, then missed everything. The most disgusting thing I've seen was when he was in the backfield to stop Sproles, completely froze to a stutter-step and Sproles got like an 8 yard gain. He doesn't tackle well, and he is no longer the 'ball hawk' he was back in 2008. It's been a recurring theme for years and again I hope Tommy puts his money where is mouth is and we identify a new FS.

    - Levitre.

    - Lewan getting hurt. I really hope he's okay as he's been the sole bright spot of the line since Roos went down. Him kicking the ball and getting a flag for it though is completely unacceptable. I understand the frustration (we all do) but he can't let it affect the team negatively.

    The good

    - Welcome back Delanie. He dropped a couple of passes he really needed to catch. But he was one of the bright spots again today. But he can't carry the entire team. Everyone else has to make plays.

    - Mett. He struggled to the pressure the Eagles brought today. Took a lot of sacks, some due to holding onto the ball for too long (not sure if some were due to nobody getting open), but he's definitely improved in his awareness since his first start. He's started sliding around the pocket (when there has been a pocket) which is something he wasn't doing a couple of weeks ago. He made some fantastic throws, but also had some bad ones; some being due to having someone in his face. But there is improvement. I'd like to think we stick with him for at least another year and focus on the defense. There's no point in bring a new QB into the ****storm we currently have until we have a structure to slot him into.
